1st SAV-ACADEMY
Fit for the future in tourism from 17 to 18 June 2024 in Bad Gleichenberg
The Student and Alumni Association (SAV) of the Bad Gleichenberg tourism schools is offering all employees in tourism businesses a varied and great opportunity for further training. On 17 and 18 June, the SAV ACADEMY is organising two interesting days with international speakers from Austria, Switzerland and Germany, who will give highly informative presentations for restaurateurs and hoteliers. Including a convivial evening programme.
The topics range from employee efficiency to the increasingly important topic of employee recruitment, the employee of the future, employee motivation, modern kitchen technology, vegan cuisine or hospitality made easy – AI makes it possible and many more.
“Thanks to our network, we were only able to attract recognised experts as speakers,” says a delighted Philip Borckenstein-Quirini, Chairman of the Alumni Association. This network is one of the great strengths of the Bad Gleichenberg tourism schools, as there are now almost 7,000 graduates scattered all over the world. “You stay a Gleichenberger for life and this privilege can open one or two doors that might otherwise remain closed,” reveals Borckenstein-Quirini. The SAV was founded in 1990 and now functions as a global network – graduates are working in more than 150 countries around the world. A big thank you also goes to the headmaster of Tourismusschulten Bad Gleichenberg, Peter Kospach: “Without the excellent partnership and outstanding cooperation with the school, this SAV ACADEMY event would not be possible, and Peter Kospach will also be addressing a hot topic as a speaker.” The headmaster will address the question “Training in tourism quo vadis”.
“These two days at the SAV ACADEMY are perfect for restaurateurs and ideal for hoteliers. We are particularly pleased to be able to organise this further training opportunity in collaboration with the Thermen- & Vulkanland tourism association,” says Borckenstein Quirini. This means that all restaurateurs, hoteliers or employees in businesses that pay tourism tax can complete this training course at the special price of EUR 69. The evening programme, which includes a wine tasting at the Krispl winery followed by dinner at the Scharl winery, can be booked for €29. Overnight accommodation is available at the tourism schools for Euro 49 (single room)
