“Because we care!”, according to this motto, the third classes of the higher educational institution for tourism of the tourism schools Bad Gleichenberg organized a charity dinner. Under the motto “Dinner with Styrian stars” they welcomed their guests on May 25, 2023 at 6 pm at the campus of the tourism schools Bad Gleichenberg.

Together with 3-Hauben chef Stefan Eder and pastry world champion Eveline Wild, a culinary fireworks display was ignited, with Styrian delicacies of the season finding their way onto the plates. The students spoiled their guests with a 5-course menu made of local products of the best quality.

“It is always a special pleasure for me to exchange ideas with young people.If this not only serves a good purpose,
but also conveys knowledge across generations, you can only look forward to this beautiful evening,” says Eveline Wild about the student project. She used her love of her craft as well as her social commitment to support needy Styrians.

The net proceeds of the evening went to the organization “Steirer helfen Steirern”. The guests were able to look forward to an unforgettable evening that not only served a good cause, but was also a feast for all the senses.

The third classes of the tourism schools Bad Gleichenberg organize a charity event every year as part of the elective subject Event Management. The aim of the cross-curricular project is to expand the social, economic and tourism skills of the young people.
